(1) The city of North Bend is hereby authorized to administer and enforce the state building code provided for in ORS Chapter 455 and all or any of the specialty codes which are a part of the state building code and adopted by the city. For such purpose, the city shall appoint a building official who is authorized to administer and enforce any of such codes as may be designated from time to time by the city council.

(2) Existing building code administration and enforcement responsibility in the city of North Bend shall continue until changed by the city council, as provided in ORS Chapter 455. (Ord. 2057 § 1, 2022)
