This chapter shall apply to all areas of special flood hazards within the jurisdiction of the city of North Bend. The areas of special flood hazard identified by the Federal Insurance Administration in a scientific and engineering report entitled, “The Flood Insurance Study for Coos County, Oregon and Incorporated Areas,” dated December 7, 2018, with accompanying flood insurance rate maps are hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this title. The flood insurance study and flood insurance rate maps are on file at City Hall, 835 California Avenue. The areas of special flood hazard constitute the city floodplain overlay zone F-P wherein the contents of this chapter apply in addition to any other zoning requirements of this title and/or NBCC Title 17, Subdivisions.
