Licenses issued under the provisions of this chapter may be revoked by the city administrator of the city of North Bend after notice and hearing for any of the following causes:

(1) Fraud, misrepresentation, or false statements contained in the application for a license.

(2) The conviction of any crime or misdemeanor involving any false statement or dishonesty involving any dealings with goods, wares or merchandise in the business.

(3) Any violation of this chapter.

(4) A failure to use reasonable care to determine the ownership or right to possession of any article of goods, merchandise or personal property received by such business.

Notice of the hearing for revocation of a license shall be given in writing, setting forth specifically the grounds of complaint and the time and place of hearing. Such notice shall be mailed, postage prepaid, to the licensee at his last known address at least five days prior to the date set for hearing. (Ord. 1981, 2012; Ord. 1229 § 7, 1963. Formerly 5.12.070)
