During any one calendar year an alarm system for which a permit has been issued shall be allowed three false alarms without any fee or charge being imposed. Commencing with the fourth false alarm and each false alarm thereafter during the calendar year, there shall be paid to the city of North Bend by the alarm user a sum in an amount to be set by council resolution for each false alarm. Failure to pay a false alarm fee within 30 days from the mailing or delivery of a notice requesting such payment shall be a violation of this chapter. Where the alarm system is operated through an alarm monitor, such monitor shall be mailed a duplicate copy of the notice to the user requesting payment. (Ord. 2013 § 1, 2017; Ord. 1608 § 5, 1980)
