Where maximum parking time limits are designated by sign, movement of a vehicle to another parking space on a street adjacent to the same block or within the same lot shall not extend the time limits for parking. Continued parking beyond the single limit for any parking space shall constitute a separate offense for each period or portion of a single limit for any such parking space during which the vehicle remains parked.
