Violation of, or failure to comply with, any provision of this chapter is punishable, upon conviction, by a fine not to exceed $300.00, and each day that such violation shall continue and persist, after notice and an opportunity to appeal has been provided pursuant to NBCC 8.12.060, shall constitute a separate and distinct violation of this chapter.
