(1) Except as provided in NBCC 10.04.340 for parking violations, the city shall comply with the procedures set forth in ORS 153.033 to 153.054 for the commencement of all violation proceedings for which a citation is issued and a fine is proposed. For the purposes of applying the provisions of ORS Chapter 153, the term “enforcement officer” shall include the city administrator and his/her designee, who are hereby specifically authorized by law to issue citations for the commission of violations of this chapter, pursuant to ORS 153.005(1)(f).

(2) Thereafter, violation proceedings referred to municipal court shall be conducted as provided in NBCC 2.20.030. (Ord. 1979 § 2, 2010)
